Generally, with Cypress I've never bothered.

They don't seem to offer any Linux devel support, so it didn't even
enter my mind that they might offer something on the Linux driver side.

Does anyone know what Cypress' Linux support is like?

That said, I'd much prefer staying away from any proprietary solution
anyways.
