www.eddiem.com -- go to the "CIS" section, then click the "Ink chip" link near 
the top. Full details on the protocol, including source code.

The "SSC Service" utility and its help file -- 
http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml -- some info on pinouts, a PC based resetter 
(a parallel port plug that connects to the chip)

That's pretty much it... The Epson ink chips are really just 32-byte EEPROMs 
with a custom I/O protocol.
