Yes and no. The egg cooking story suggested a gross thermal effect - and the energy levels are liable to be far too low for that. When it comes to more subtle health effects then waveforms may matter. A digital signal may have much higher instantaneous field strengths for the same mean power as analog. The GSM system (common here and in Europe) has a low frequency derived signal which is massively invasive in nearby electronic system - it is audible on stereo and other systems with no formal RF reception capability at all.
