OK, I've had it.  I haven't gotten into these flame wars in the past,  
but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.  I'm fed up with the wasted bandwidth and will  
now filter out any thing but [PIC].  Like most organizations lately,  
the PIClist has seemingly become more concerned about being PC than  
with the general content of the list.  Olin can be abrasive and so can  
I (just ask my friends).  However, his contributions far outweigh IMHO  
any grief that he has piled on someone who  generally deserved a  
verbal switching.  I have learned a great deal from this list  
(speaking as a rank amateur) and some of that has come from Olin's  
posts.  I would rather spend a little extra time researching a problem  
than to waste everyone's time by asking a question that can easily be  
answered in the archives or app notes.

To those offended by Olin, and now by me, GET A LIFE!  Reality is not  
always warm and fuzzy.  If you say the wrong things in life, you may  
get physically slapped.  Thicken your skin if you post on this list  
and we will all gain from it.

Hanging on the wall of my office is the following:

			STRESS -

The condition created when one's mind overcomes
the body's innate desire to squeeze the living sh-t
out of some a--hole who desperately deserves it.

I'm sure Olin would agree.

To our admins - this thread has lasted far longer than it needed to.   
Get Olin back and contributing to the list and get our members to have  
a little more spine.

You may flame away at me but I won't bother reading your posts.
