Yes, but I do not consider that (in isolation) very relevant.

I consider it very likely that people leave the list because of

- rude posts
- polite posts (!)
- lack of PIC/electronic content
- lack of general-interest content
- too high signal/noise ratio
- lack of time (spouses demanding their share of a nice evening)
- huh, what's all this email? please unsubscribble me!
