I > won't be leaving it on charge all the time. NIMH cells HATE constant overcharge, so be careful. Some versions can tolerate it, but they are unusual. Overcharging causes voltage depression, which is sometimes mistaken for "memory effect", which is a very real, and very over-rated phenomenon. In my opinion, NIMH is the most complicated of the common cell chemistries to charge.
