Xiaofan,

I have old dell pc that used to have xp on it and it was operating very
very slow I was about to dump it.
After I installed Fedora 8 it works 10 times faster then xp. I do not
think
More test needed. I can tell that Linux is the winner and windows is
learning from linux and mac. I have mac with lots of programs installed
It always boots with same speed but XP takes long time to boot. To me XP
is OS that we all got stock with it and it is too late to change it.
Specially dealing with electronics. We complain about XP then later we
go back to XP again because of all of our development system is made for
windows not for mac or linux or unix.
