A newish buck boost IC that looks possibly useful.
Main claim to fame is very wide Vin and Vout.

Dual external N Channel FETS for switching plus external 
flywheel diode plus external low side current sense 
resistor.

Claims up to 95% efficiency but nothing overly clever to 
achieve this and much worse at extremes of range.

Useful for very wide input and output range capabilities.
