I'll have a go tonight. > > Richard Since you have audio mode set to 5.1, you will of course get NO ANALOG audio. PCM is also a digital mode. You need to turn off digital audio modes to get analog out on many DVD players. Is 'none' or 'off' an audio option? Also check that you are using 'main' audio, not 'alternate' or 'foreign'. The unit may have a volume function. If the volume is set to zero you will of course also get nothing out. It sounds to me like 'finger trouble' and that there is nothing wrong with the hardware.
