If you like old 'trons (Tubes in other words) you might be interested in this lovely bit of furniture: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=290232298540 American Bosch Model 48aa 39-6427 39-6318 Condition: Good! - Case 9 - Dial 7 - Plays 8 - Sound 8 Basically Working: Requires new power cord for safe operation. There are so few of these radios that information about it is hard to find. The internet shows only a few other 48aa's and none with this exact model number or case. The power cord is very old and the internal insulation is cracking under the cloth exterior so I don't feel comfortable listing it as completely working, but I have plugged it in briefly and it picks up very nice sound.. I'm not at all sure that the phonograph is original. It appears to have been added after the fact. The rear panel has been replaced with new wood. The hinges for the top are also new. You can see this in picture 18 above. Shipping this item would be VERY difficult and I would not feel comfortable making any guarantee against shipping damage. I can hand deliver the radio for an extra $50 within 2 hours drive of 92027 (Escondido, CA), but for more distant destinations, you should contract with a service to package and ship the radio for you.
