If you do a digikey search for "SRAM", select RAM, then narrow your search to I2C, 1 wire, and 3 wire interface you'll find a few other than FRAM (Digikey doesn't carry ramtron fram). Looks like Dallas and NXP are your friends. NXP has a wide voltage range. Dallas appears to have battery backed SRAM modules of some sort - may not be suitable. If all else fails, buy parallel SRAM and use a PLD or PIC in front of it for the serial interface.
