for a home project, I am looking for ZigBee modules that already inter-operate and have node modules that have digital I/O and analog I/O. I looked at ArchRock.com. they seem set up for large OEM buyers. Digi.com looked like a possibility. Their digital I/O modules seemed expensive. The $21 module looked like the right price. I could not figure out whether the module had I/O capability the could be controlled through the network mesh. There was some mention of adding your own code?? My first unit to be controlled is a analog clock from Walmart for $3.99. I removed the crystal controlled stepper motor and added a cell phone vibrator motor so I could run the clock hands forward or reverse at any speed I wanted. The scheme works but all the control i have added so far is human hand operated ( reverse the motor wires ) direction control and human hand operated ( touch the battery with the wire ) PWM control. I want a clock that I can control wirelessly. cc -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
