Question: Has anyone known figures for leakage currents for larger sized supercaps and for Nichicon Evercaps in particular. Russell McMahon __________________ All Nichicon "Evercap" supercaps have a datasheet leakage specification of 0.5 mA per Farad of capacity. That seems substantially higher that other claims for smaller sized supercaps. But treating this as uA by assuming a typo gives figures that are too low. eg 47F is either about 23 mA or 23 uA. __________________ UC 0.47 - 47 F 0.5 mA/F http://www.szxjk.com/PDF/EverCAP.pdf JC 15 - 150 F 0.5 mA/F Snap in. http://www.nichicon-us.com/english/products/pdf/e-jc692.pdf JC 470 - 3300 F 0.5 mA/F Screw terminal http://www.nichicon.co.jp/english/products/pdf/e-jc331.pdf -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
