Yaesu G800DXA . A lightning strike wiped out the controller while still in warranty but Vertex (Yaesu-US) was only interested in selling me a new one. Circuit boards contain proprietary chips. There are other vendors that sell replacement controllers but I think I should be able to do the project myself. Since I have a work around with a dedicated Ohm Meter and a toggle switch I am not in any great hurry.
