So far I can't get it to install. I was reinstalling XP on my laptop over the weekend & started doing the updates on Monday. There were 100 updates at that time. I left it installing them & went to bed. The next day I got a failure message & explorer would not start when I re-booted rendering the system useless. I repaired the XP installation, but now could not access USB memory sticks. Retried the updates, & now it seems to have consolidated them all into SP3. Running the SP3 package, the PC freezes while trying to do a cleanup after install. I'm trying the SP3 install again later, but I'd say I'll have to start again with a fresh XP install. I'll keep you posted.... I may revert to an abacus or maybe a slide rule.
