I fully agree with the "pseudo-scientists" comment, since basic chemistry shows that the whole thing is an overblown worry. If there was a problem then it wouldn't be possible to find intact Civil War (U.S) musket balls. Somehow over the years I've accumulated a couple pounds of lead solder.
