Works > nicely otherwise. Doesn't work with NT anyway, IIRC. It doesn't have to work with NT -- only with NT partitions (from the Acronis boot CD). Besides the Acronis boot CD and the Linux solutions, there are also the various Windows-based boot CD projects with assorted tools.
