Once upon a time I ordered a small mill; it weighed about 70kg and was in a wooden crate about the size of a bar fridge. Not exactly something you cheerfully tuck under your arm, but easy enough to shift with a trolley. They couldn't deliver it, and the reason was 'they couldn't get it off the truck'. My response was 'eh, you got it ON the truck, surely it must have occurred to your good selves that you would have to get it back OFF the truck at the other end.'. Actually, my response had the word 'fucking' in there a few times, it's left to the readers imagination as to where & how many. After that they delivered a compressor, and managed to get that off the truck, oddly enough. :) Their complaint that time was that it leaked oil, I pointed out that if they had taken notice of the big arrow on the side of the crate, it wouldn't have been a problem, and refused to take delivery until someone cleaned it.
