> > Scanning into a PC would take me far > more time that I have Neil, You could use a sharp knife to cut through the spine of each magazine (so that you now just have a stack of pages), put the whole stack into a page feed scanner, let it go to town, and then write some software to rearrange to pages into proper order. It seems like they can do about 50 pages at once generally, so you'd still have to feed it fairly frequently, but it's better than using a flat bed scanner at least.
