I usually can't speak too highly about DHL's excellence at 
getting parcels from semi-random locations somewhere on 
earth to my local airport. Or too lowly about their ability 
to get parcels from the local airport to me.

But, on this occasion one of the Auckland local couriers 
must have been sent to Shandong specially to handle my 
parcel:

It only took them 3 minutes to get it from receipt to 
dispatch at the Shandong depot. A miracle.
BUT then the Auckland man stepped in and ... 36 hours and 38 
minutes later ...
