Please move this to OT; There was recently a documentary on what exactly "product of Canada" means. I don't remember the exact definition, but basically if the most "value" is added to a product in Canada, it can be labeled product of Canada. What really bugs people about this is things like fish. It says product of Canada, but when you look into it the fish were caught in say China, gutted in say Thailand, and packaged in Canada, yet the label says "product of Canada".
