Woodwork or stained glass suppliers will have complete assemblies. Probably short lengths, and often with a switch. Best bet is to go to an electrical supply or regular hardware shop, get the bits & make your own. I know you won't find them in Australia, I'm fairly sure there's a regulation limiting cable lengths. The longest cable & plug assembly I've found off the shelf was around 8 feet, used for hairdryers. I guess they take exception to long runs of thin unearthed cable.
