I am revisiting MikroPascal (v7.0) using an older (easyPic2) development board of theirs. I bought the compiler and board several years ago but set it aside for another project. The upgrade to the latest version was included in the original price so nothing soured during the down time. It does have a few warts and there are a few things I would like to see added. However, Their IDE is as good or better than any other than I have used. The ability to build, burn and test in seconds using their Development board is a lot easier on my patience than using the Pic Start plus and a breadboard. Duplicating the hardware for the final project is not hard since the Development board is well documented. There is only one of me and the budget comes out of my pocket. Until I find something I want to do that it will not do I am a happy customer!
