Ariel, You can move the name and value by first clicking on the 'smash' icon, or by typing sm on the command line in Eagle. Then, click on the crosshairs of any component in your layout, and you will then see two more crosshairs pop up: one for the name, and one for the value of that part that you clicked on. You can then move these around at will.
