Hi,

I find very frustrating the little options Eagle gives you to locate
the text in the silkscreen layer. It comes from either ">Name" or
">Value" and it is defined by the package in the library element you
are using, but the problem is in moderately dense PCB layouts it
seldom gets the text located where you want. Initial thought would be
to have the ability to move the text around, but you can't. It only
let's you move the whole device, not the text alone. (Obviously the
other option is to update your library with multiple package options,
but that is fairly impractical)

So I end up creating text in a different layer and hidding the usual
ones most of the time, but as I said this is time consuming, error
prone and very frustrating.

Does anyone has a better way to do this?
