In the forbidden city / Imperial Palace / palace Museum in 
Beijing they have a large flat one piece stone carving which 
weighs AFAIR 400 tons.

Moved in one piece from quite some distance away. How? They 
made a "road" of ice in winter and slid the stone on it.
