Frankly I find the whole story a little funny. EVERYTHING created by a human can and will eventually be cracked by a human. All the car security system will ever be able to do is provide a deterrence. As long as your car is a little harder to steal then the one next door the security system is doing it's job. If a thief wants your car they will get it, no matter WHAT security system you have. Many upper end cars are stolen these days with the keys in the hands of the thieves! Usually the thieves just break into the house and steal the keys to get the car. If they REALLY want your car it only takes a few minutes to put a car on a flatbed truck and drive it away. I once saw that done at the airport in Vienna, someone had parked too long in the short term parking. The flat bed had a mini crane. It literally took them about 3 or 4 minutes to put straps under the car, lift it only the flatbed and drive it away.
