You know, the occasional posting of pointers to relevant WELL DONE  
scientific studies on global warming, or nearly anything else for

I still get ALL of piclist, so it won't affect my reading if the GW  
posts show up in OT instead of EE.  I suspect that's true of the  
majority of the people who are willing or interested in GW, so the  
willing readership won't go up much by using EE instead of OT. And  
posting GW info in EE is unlikely to change the minds of anyone who  
is so sick of the lack of rigor (in the topic in general), regardless  
of how rigorous that particular piece of info is...
