According to the radio, some guy soloed at Gillespie Field today.

On landing he managed to get sideways & collapse the landing
gear - Reportedly took the FD 10 minutes to put out the fire.

Route 67 became a parking lot for the assembled multitude.

He walked away, so I guess it was a good landing.
