Hi, i have such a strange problem. I have a board with a dsPIC30F4011 connected with a Microchip official ICD2. I always were able to program and test the pic normally. But on a beautiful sunny day, i tried to use the debugger. I set mplab to use the debugger of ICD2 and wrote the pic with my program and consequently with the debugger executive. The pic immediatelly stoped working. The configuration bits were set to PGC/EMUC and PGC/EMUD Then i tried another pic...identical to the first one! And exactly the same problem happened!! I lost 2 pics....just trying to activate the debugger of an official microchip tool. Here's my output: Auto-connect not enabled - Not connecting (Try enabling auto-connect on the ICD2 settings pages.) Connecting to MPLAB ICD 2...
