I'm trying to do a prototype for very small quantitiy CompactFlash
form factor gadget for a PDA. I didn't find connectors, case or
anything available for prototype that. I can get connectors for
connecting the CompactFlash to, but not the connector (female) of the
CompactFlash itself.

So my first instinct was to canibalize a cheap & old CompactFlash
memory card to try to reuse the connector with a custom made PCB, but
found it to be surprisingly difficult to disassembly, perhaps it is
fully epoxied inside as I cannot take it apart.

Does anyone has any pointer or part # to buy a female CompactFlash
connector or, even better, a prototype board with it already in place
suitable to connect inside a PDA?
