Arthur C Clark was a prolific letter writer in the early days of the
personal computer revolution he sent notes of encouragement and
suggestions to many of the early innovators.

He saw better than most what would happen when low cost
computers would be generally available.

Arthur C Clark was an articulate author who explored the "What will
happen after the technical problems are solved"

He reasoned his way to the geosynchronous satellites and may a
100 years from now be best remembered for his space elevator
used to sling shot us into space instead being attached atop a
bomb called a launch vehicle.
