The entrance requirements far exceed public school scholarship level, the workload and expectations are more demanding. The students are require to have certain scores on SAT and entrance exams. I home schooled my kids and they attended a community college at 14 and 15 and got A's. But they were still in high school (home school) and I wanted them to graduate with a real diploma so I sent them to a private boarding school to finish up. I am not convinced that they would have done as well in the public school system because they are far ahead of their peers academically. The have a great advantage at boarding school, they get to participate in sports (required) music and other things. My son was required to write a business plan an actually start up and market a product. The A&P course would make me ht the books. All in all I am pleased wither the results. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Vitaliy" To: "Microcontroller discussion list - Public."
