Last fall I was passing through Denver, and among other things visited Sparkfun and showed Nathan the module we developed four our scan tools, based on the RN-41: http://www.scantool.net/files/pdf/stm4100/stm4100.pdf I recently found that Sparkfun has developed several modules based on the RN-41: http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8550 http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8180 The DIP module is more appropriate for hobbyist use than the STM4100.
