I said that people who work for Microchip have accents, including the CEO. 
So I'm sure it's not the company's policy to discriminate on the basis of

That doesn't make sense, please explain.

If the company's goal is to hire cheap labor, it does not need any extra 
barriers. Barriers can only have a positive impact on the wages.
