As for the idea posted by Vitaliy that because the CEO is Indian racism wouldn't be an issue, I have to say - I've worked for a company run by a Fijian Indian, and he definitely thought people from Eastern Europe and women were lesser people, and try seeing how many people from Bangladesh, Pakistan or Europe are employed in a many a corner shop or small enterprise. The premis is false, everyone discriminates to some extent and is racist to some extent - it is the extent that comes into question. I've also worked for a firm that has an operation down Mexico way, the labour that is employed for the assembly function is only those who speak Spanish - not becuase the US arm of the company are altruistic, but becasue they know the labour is cheap.
