Leave one of those to itself for 20 years and it would be most unlikely to be still operating. My chimney spindizzy has probably been running for 30 years and will probably last another 30. If it has had power generation capability it would probably still be working if properly built. The available power would be a small fraction of that from the smallest marine windmill.
