Local Fry's equivalent are taking preorders for the Asus Eee 
with XP preloaded.
Price for 4 GB version is $NZ700 / $US560 which is $100 more 
than the $NZ600 / $US480 Linux only version.

You can also buy a "real" Asus notebook for about the same 
price. 80 GB 512 kB. Vista home. Arguably a far better 
bargain. But, then you'd have to use it :-(.

The Eee XP seems to be prices far far far too high.
