hi Wouter,
as you might remember I developed a RPD (Rapid Prototyping Board) a few 
years ago.
The RPD has also a programmer module on board,
(consisting of 4 diodes, 8 resistors and a FET,  so if you call that a 
programmer ;-),
but I didn't have the fast programming algorithm for the 16F690 on board,
and as I have to program over 200 devices ...
