Lets see for a one off 3 inch by 3 inch board for someone like me (i'm =

$10 setup
$22.5 for the board
say $15 shipping (picked the middle of the range they quote for shipping =

it out USPS global priority)

that comes to $47.5 which translates to approximately =A323.75. This is =

over the threshold where VAT is supposed to be paid but they don't =

always catch small but valuable packages

If customs catch it:
=A310 vat handling charge
17.5% vat on =A323.75 is =A34.16

Lets assume there is a 50% chance of them catching it, that means on =

average I will pay about =A37. That puts the total price at about =A330.

now olimex
The smallest panel that will fit the board is DSS, this will fit two =

copies. and will cost E24. Olimex have faster turnaround (or at least =

they claim to) so we can choose a cheaper delivery option and still get =

a comparable or better overall speed. So lets pic airmail at E5.50. That =

comes to about E30. Olimex is in the EU so VAT will be charged at source =

at the bulgarian rate of 20% bringing the total to E36 which is =

approximately =A328

so for about the same price I get two copies of the board from olimex =

but only one from batchpcb
