Spehro, I meet all of these requirements. I have been working as an Electronics Tech for better than 30 years. I am currently employed in the seismic instrumentation industry. I would be willing to move if the Compensation is reasonable. FYI, I have no problems with my current employer. As a matter of fact, I like this job. Before that, I worked at Texas Instruments Inc. What is the salary range, and what is the benefits package like? Let me know and I'll get back with you. Here are the requirements: ? Must be familiar with MS Windows and office productivity tools. Familiarity with EDA packages such as Orcad/Altium/Eagle and/or 3D CAD applications such as Solidworks/SolidEdge a plus. ? Debugging and troubleshooting skills applicable to bringing up new hardware/firmware systems an asset. ? Strong familiarity with the operation and use of meters, oscilloscopes, and other bench top equipment, and ability to assemble, troubleshoot and rework fine-pitch SMT boards at the component level. ? Ability to document work, and assist with inventory control, kitting, shipping and receiving, and installations. ? Compulsion to maintain a neat and well-organized work area ? Recent graduates with enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and a strong electronics hobbyist background (demonstrable successful projects completed) will be considered. Occasional weekend/evening work will be required. It's likely to be a fun job with an interesting group of people (fully funded startup in the geophysical instrumentation field). The mediocre of work habits and/or attitude need not apply, but a huge amount of experience is NOT required. If you think you might have what it takes, please send me a copy of a recent resume.
