You know what, you're right, I completely blanked on the PSP. It is most certainly a real competitor to the Gameboy/NDS. That said, AFAIK Gameboy/NDS is still for the time being on top (based on software sales). The fact remains, Gameboy has been a phenomenon in the gaming world, no other system has come close to the staying power it has. Nintendo has just kept coming out with small incremental improvements and it just keeps going.
