In SX Microcontrollers, SX/B Compiler and SX-Key Tool, robotworkshop wrote: The main thing to watch out for if you are going to be debugging is you clock source. When debugging your circuit the clock has to be generated by the SX-Key. If you use the internal R/C circuit then no worries. If you have a resonator you can program with the resonator in place but have to remove the resonator for debugging. If you use an oscillator then that needs to be pulled out for both programming and debugging. So, if you are going to be debugging your circuit just make sure your clock source is socketed. Also, pickup a couple of the $9.95 protoboards as those are useful for projects and already have all the sockets for a variety for clock options. Besides that just have a 4-pin header near the chip which has the osc pins, +5v, and gnd ---------- End of Message ---------- You can view the post on-line at: http://forums.parallax.com/forums/default.aspx?f=7&p=1&m=253549#m253580 Need assistance?
