I've been trying to remember the memory type I used some 10+ years ago. It had a DRAM portion, 512 wide, cant recall how deep BUT what made it cool was a static port that was 256 wide, and you could stream it out serially. It was dual ported so you could write into the one half, and then dump out of the serial port. For the life of me...I can't remember what it was called. I doubt its being made anymore.
