Resent with tag...

I'm getting a character stream this is XML tags. I'd like a way to parse
these out to the elements and attributes. Most of the stuff I find
Googling is for C++, C#, or some other language. As I continue Googling,
can anyone suggest some sample code? My incoming XML is something like
this:

<Subtitle SpotNumber="3" TimeIn="00:01:00:000" TimeOut="00:01:05.000">
  <Text HAlign'"center" HPosition="0.0" VAlign="bottom"
VPosition=10.0">Text to display</Text></Subtitle>
