Dual- > colour LEDs ? Duh I am smacking my forehead. Yeah, I think I should use dual- color LEDs. Right now I am using fluorescent orange light pipes so that replacement of LEDs would be easy. I could switch to clear light pipes. Then the color could vary a lot ( even use RGB LEDs ) Currently: The LED corresponding to the hour is constantly on. The LED corresponding to the minute flashes once per second. ( 1ps ) The LED corresponding to the second flashes 5 times per second. ( 5ps ) Precedence goes to second, followed by minute, then hour. Examples : noon and 30 seconds 12 position flashes 1ps and 6 position flashes 5ps. noon and 1 second 12 position flashes 5ps 0115 hrs and 45 seconds 1 position-on , 3 position-1ps , 9 position 5ps. Can anyone suggest a better scheme than this brilliant solution ?
