That wasn't quoted in the article I saw, but is probably more like 100k+ 
quantities seeing they were talking in terms of Asian consumer market, so I 
assume cell phones, MP3 players etc at 1.2 to 1.5V supply.

Good question. Hmm, just looked it up on the Actel web pages, they only list 
the QN68 pin package, but at 8mm square, that is going to be some fine 
trackage.

They do have some interesting looking IP cores available.
