Hi Dave,

I assume you've tried installing AVR Studio on a
machine that previously had no devtools installed on
it, just to rule out some nasty hidden conflict?

And if worst comes to worst, judging from the comments
in another thread, you could try installing Windows
Vista, some users say it's gear fab and runs
everything just fine :)
