It always surprises me how few people (even of the more
technical/computational inclined ones) seem to have had a look at what
comes with Windows. Run for example "dir *.exe;*.com" in
<systemdir>/system32, then consult the documentation (or the web) for each
app you don't know. May be revealing :)
