I think this is a good way to run Mac OS X -- still
use Windows for what Windows is better at (supporting
more third party software). So you are happy,
Apple is happy and Microsoft is also happy. ;-)

It (using VMs) can be a good way to run Linux
as well -- to use Linux where it is better and to
use Windows when it is necessary.

But personally I do not like VMs since I can
use dual boot.
